Gita Maria Sturm Gita Maria Sturm was both highly artistic and entrepreneurial as a child, and it was no surprise when she started her own jewelry business in 1981 while she was still a young art student. She grew her business, and eventually had stores in Monterrey, Maui, and Aspen where she sold her jewelry designs. Her hand-crafted enameled pieces are colorful, imaginative and exquisitely detailed....miniature works of art!

Gita has worked with fiber, fabric and accessories for more than 25 years, and has created an extensive line of colorful enamel buttons and shawl pins that are very popular with fiber artists who use them to embellish hand knitted, woven, and quilted items.

Gita’s dramatic use of color and color combinations has always been her signature, and it is especially evident in her new line of knit kits. Her original copyrighted patterns, combined with the rich colors and textures of high-end European yarns guarantee truly stunning results every time….even for beginner knitters!
